An amazing singing group from Toronto has included BRIGHT Run 2018 in its unique and super fun fundraising campaign.

Thanks to photographer Rick Harris, a longtime BRIGHT Run volunteer, BRIGHT Run 2018 is among the charities that will benefit from the Choir! Choir! Choir! Foundation’s second annual 25 Days of Charity! Charity! Charity! Campaign starting Dec 1.

Last year, the fundraising campaign raised $50,000, which was split evenly among 25 charities.

We’re thrilled to be included in this year’s campaign, not only because of the donation but also because of the group’s social media campaign, which raises awareness of the charities that benefit from the campaign.

Choir! Choir! Choir! launches the 2017 campaign on its website,, Dec. 1. All the charities will be on view, with pitches from group members. The page will look like an advent calendar; from Dec. 1 to Dec. 25, each date will feature a different charitable organization which will also be prominent on Choir! Choir! Choir!’s social media that day.

Based in Toronto, Choir! Choir! Choir! is structured as an open participation event where anyone who attends an event is welcome to perform as part of the choir.

In 2011, Choir! Choir! Choir! founders Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman held their first drop-in event at Toronto’s Clinton Tavern. The two musicians have twice-weekly drop-in events at the tavern and make appearances at venues large and small, where they lead the audience in choral performances of a wide range of popular songs.

Choir! Choir! Choir! has sung with Patti Smith, Rufus Wainwright and Tegan and Sara, among others, and has appeared at the AGO, and New York City’s Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall.

Last weekend, Choir! Choir! Choir! participated in the Grey Cup in Ottawa. The group has a gig in St. Catharines Dec. 1 and a bunch of BRIGHT Run folks have already got their tickets. Go to and click on Hot Tickets if you want to snag to join us.

On Dec. 16, Choir! Choir! Choir! will hold a fundraising singing event at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on Sherbourne Street in Toronto, with all proceeds going to the campaign. Tickets to that event may be purchased at
