Amber and Crystal Ripa and their team Pink Ribbon Ride present “Through the Judge’s Eye” with Don Barnes on Saturday, May 5 starting at 10 a.m. at Center Line Equestrian located at 1749 Centre Road, RR 2, Hamilton.

The team’s 12th annual Pink Ribbon Ride event will raise funds for the BRIGHT Run. Last year’s Pink Ribbon Clinic raised more than $5,000.

Don Barnes is a senior Canadian judge and an experienced Educate Your Eye Clinician. Riders will have the opportunity to get feedback on their tests from Don, as a way to prepare for the upcoming show season. Auditors will have an interactive role and will learn about how to evaluate movements from a judge’s perspective.

Applications will be accepted for riders from Training to Third Level (EC tests). Rider cost is $80 and the deadline to apply is April 14. Find the rider application sheet here.

Auditors must pre-register by emailing by April 21. The cost for auditor participation is $30 and must be received with registration via email. Auditors, please bring a chair, clipboard and pen.

Spectators are welcome anytime and are asked to make a donation to the BRIGHT Run at the event. The team will host its wonderful Pink Ribbon BBQ for breakfast and lunch and there will be a raffle table and silent auction. For safety reasons, no smoking or dogs on the property.
